Sometimes on radio or television, and much of the time writing and editing, Ray has authored nearly
thirty books including Stealth Attack, Fire and Rain, The Healing Power of
Forgiveness, An Anchor for the Soul, The Incredible Journey of Faith, The ABCs
of Wisdom, Leadership Lessons of Jesus (with Bob Briner), Why Did This Happen to
Me?, and Credo: Believing in Something to Die For.
For many years he pastored churches in Los Angeles, Dallas and most recently Calvary Memorial Church
in Oak Park near Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Ray Pritchard is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University,
Dallas Theological Seminary and Talbot School of Theology where he earned his doctor of ministry.
His teaching is clear, always centered in scripture, and filled with interesting illustrations and
personal experiences.
Ray often brings his wife Marlene to Cannon Beach and is never shy to mention his three sons, their
wives, or his grandchildren. He has broad interests from bicycling to Civil War history and will
often mention Dudley and Gary, what he calls his very excellent basset hounds.
