As a teenager I worked in the Kitchen staff in the summer of 78. Was a great experience, and I wonder about those I worked with. Is there any way we can locate old friends we worked with in the past? I love Cannon Beach I have been there every year since I can remember. And still my favorite place to get the best candy in the world is Bruce's Candy Kitchen. I am 12 1/2 now and I think that Cannon Beach is the best place to meet new friends that you can keep for a life time, maybe, or see your friends from the last time you came. Every morning before the big meal bell rings you can run, walk, or jog down to the rock. There are two bakeries that are both very good. Every year I go there is always something new in store for me and my family, and there is always a new adventure for me. Almost every year I ride banana bikes with my cousins. I look forward to coming back this year, I will be in mid kids.

I have been coming to Women's Conference for a number of years thanks to Sandi Thompson ,a high school friend. Every year all the women in her family come together! What a tradition! It's around 30 people! This women's conference was the best, ever! Jan Silvious was a dynamic and lively speaker. Wow! Can we please have her back sometime soon? Of course, Bonnie Knopf and Tiresa are two of my already favorite worship leaders and pianists. Georgene Rice was almost more than one could hope for! I had brought 3 people from my work, 2 had never been to a conference before. The Lord provided an abundance of talent and a thought provoking week-end. Many thanks.

I grew up with summer conferences at CBCC and met some wonderfull life long friends (Becky Clements, Pete Smith). I worked at CBCC for two summers and met my husband, Curtis, there when he ran the mid-kids program. We have settled in Yakima,WA with our four kids (Garrett, Astoria, Ian, & Eve) and are looking forwoard to coming to a conference this summer. Obviously CBCC was life changing for both Curtis and I and we can't express how far reaching this ministry is.

Cannon Beach has offered me years and years of "appointments" with God - - even when I didn't know I had one!! Each speaker has offered some insight, challenge, conviction of need to change in my personal life. Now I wouldn't miss a woman's conference (at least one a year), as these have been times of deep spiritual renewal. If you haven't discovered Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center yet.....try it....you will never be the same again (just like the praise song)

I had the wonderful privilege of working at the Conference Center from 10/98 - 4/00. The experience there was life-changing, putting it simply. Being there helped me to cope with the transitions in my spiritual walk, and the greatest blessing was when I met my husband there. Though we have had many trials since leaving, we have a good life, and fond memories of our time there, not to mention coming away with a bonus, our beautiful daughter, Noelle. For 12 years, I lived in Seaside - up the highway 13 miles from Cannon Beach . I came down to the Conference Center once while living there and "discovered" that huge, white Yamaha grand piano upstairs above the main reception building. Played it for two hours non-stop. What a time that was! Back in the 80's. Now I live down in Medford , but would love to be walking the streets of Cannon Beach once again.

I first went to CBCC 15 years ago and I had the opportunity to work there for a year and a half. It was such a time of spiritual growth for me. I will always have special memories from those times. My family and I are getting ready to go to Australia as missionaries, and I still thank God for my time in Cannon Beach . We miss cbcc sooooo much. But Chicago is much more wonderful that I expected. All of the people in our aparment building are great Christians and Moody is wonderful. We had everything go wrong that could have since we left Cannon Beach , bet we're sure that it's from the Lord because He's just making us depend on Him more. Dear Cannon Beach family: This is just a short note to inform people that my father, Keith Price, who ministered at summer conferences a number of times in previous years (the last time in 1999), passed away on January 28th in Victoria , British Columbia .
