Pay and Scholarships
WAGES AND BENEFITS
First year staff earn $21.00 per 8 hours (plus room and board
and tips). Returning summer staff earn $25.00 per 8 hours (plus
room and board and tips). Summer staff normally work five days
per week with two days off. Work schedules and days off are set
by each department.
Most positions begin the second week in June and continue
through Labor Day weekend. Applicants who can work the entire
summer are given priority in hiring. Opportunities to arrive
early or stay later are available.
SCHOLARSHIPS
CBCC is pleased to offer a scholarship program for summer staff
to help with the cost of college tuition. Awards are based on
financial need, job performance, and successful completion of
the summer commitment.
In 2007, CBCC awarded over $24,000 in scholarship money to our
summer staff with individual scholarships as high as $1,200.

GAP PROGRAM - GIVING, AFFIRMATION,
PRAYER
The Summer Staff GAP Program provides the opportunity
for summer staff to receive up to an additional $1,500. These funds
come from tax deductible gifts made to CBCC by individuals who support our
summer staff and the ministry of the conference center. Summer staff
who participate in the GAP Program will be required to contact at least ten
people and invite them to become GAP supporters.
In addition to
giving financially, GAP supporters offer needed encouragement and prayer.

*Participation in the GAP Program is voluntary.
Ten percent of all GAP donations goes to cover program administrative
costs. All gifts remain under the control and administration of CBCC.
Staff must complete a nine week minimum commitment and meet all program
requirements to be eligible.
