Summer Family Conference with Jerry Benjamin
June 21-28, 2008
Jerry
Benjamin travels extensively in the
United States, Canada, and other parts of the world as an Itinerant Bible
Teacher proclaiming the message of the living and indwelling Lord Jesus.
Emphasis is given to the centrality of Christ in all of Scripture. His
Jewish upbringing prior to salvation adds rich insights, while interweaving
themes and practical applications, all concentrating on the Person and work
of Jesus Christ.

Vanlaningham
is Professor of Bible at the Moody Bible
Institute in Chicago, Illinois where he has taught since 1998. He
earned a doctorate from Trinity
International University,
and before coming on staff at Moody, pastored churches in
California, Nebraska, and Illinois. Often quoted and published, Mike brings
a wealth of biblical knowledge to his speaking engagements where audiences
find him personable, interesting, humorous, and able to apply scripture to
everyday life.

Summer Family Conference with Ian Leitch
July 5-12, 2008
Ian
Leitch and his publication The
Heralds Trust is known throughout Christian circles. He has a unique
personality and pulpit style that appeals to people of all ages. His
enthusiasm for the Gospel and Godliness are contagious. For well over 30
years Ian has been an Evangelist, Bible teacher, and has pioneered a
traveling Bible School called the New Life Seminars. He has the heart
of an evangelist and is happiest when he is presenting the Gospel throughout
the world. Ian and his wife, Morag, reside in Edinburgh Scotland.

Summer Family Conference with Bill Farrel
July 12-19, 2008
Bill
Farrel has been impacting lives for twenty years as a Senior Pastor,
Youth Pastor and conference speaker. He has co-authored with his wife, Pam,
Men are Like Waffles, Women are Like Spaghetti (Harvest House), Pure
Pleasure: Making Your Marriage a Great Affair (co-authored with Jim and
Sally Conway), Marriage in the Whirlwind: Seven Skills for Couples Who Can’t
Slow Down (InterVarsity Press), Love, Honor and Forgive (InterVarsity Press)
and their newest book Red Hot Monogamy. Bill has also written Devotions for
Men on the Go (co-authored with Steven Arteburn).
Bill came to know Christ at age 16, after watching the film “The Exorcist”,
and has since discovered freedom in life...freedom from fear, freedom from
guilt and freedom to achieve God’s best. Bill then attended Talbot Seminary
at Biola University and graduated with an MDIV in Practical Theology with an
emphasis in counseling. His “LifeCoaching” method of helping people achieve
their God given potential has helped thousands. Bill thinks that God has
designed life to be a great adventure. In fact, his favorite theological
word is “WOW!”
He is a frequent guest on radio and TV including. His practical teachings,
sprinkled with humor and real life illustrations, challenge and encourage
all audiences. Bill is a powerful role model. He is the father of 3 active
boys, who all love football, along with various other sports. Bill and his
sons have spearheaded an annual Father/Son Fishing trip, an annual
TurkeyBowl, and his oldest son, Brock, was named San Diego Citizen of the
Year in 2002.

Summer Family Conference with Ray Pritchard
July 19 – 26, 2008
Ray
Pritchard serves as president of Keep Believing Ministries. He has
ministered extensively overseas in Columbia, Paraguay, Belize, Haiti,
Nigeria, Switzerland, Russia, India, Nepal and China. He is a frequent
conference speaker and guest on Christian radio and television talk
shows. He has written 27 books, including The Healing Power of
Forgivement, An Anchor for the Soul, The Incredible Journey of Faith,
The ABCs of Wisdom, Leadership Lessons of Jesus, and Why Did This
Happen to Me? His most recent book is Credo: Believing in
Something to Die For.
For 26
years he pastored churches in Los Angeles, Dallas and most recently in
Chicago sixteen years. He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University
(B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and Talbot School of
Theology (D.Min.). He has been married to Marlene for 33 years. Their
three sons (Josh, Mark and Nick) have spent time in recent years
teaching English in China. Josh and Leah were married in July 2006. His
hobbies include biking, surfing the Internet, anything related to the
Civil War, and playing with Dudley, their basset hound.

Summer Family Conference with Ron Cline & Jim Burns
July 26-August 2, 2008
Ron
Cline, board chairman at
HCJB Global, is a man gifted in communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ.
His background as a pastor, educator, counselor and missionary gives him
credibility and rapport with the many groups and individuals around the
world to whom he and his wife, Barb, minister each year.
Ron is a graduate of Azusa Pacific
University (APU) in California. He also attended Fuller and Talbot
seminaries and studied counseling and guidance at Pasadena Graduate School,
all in California. In 1982 he received a doctorate of divinity from Azusa.
He is an ordained minister and a licensed marriage, family and child
counselor, as is his wife, Barb.
The Clines split their time between
Quito, Ecuador (home of the ministry’s primary shortwave broadcasting and
health care facilities), and Colorado Springs, where the ministry’s
international headquarters are based.

Jim
Burns is President of
HomeWord and host of Homeword's 30 minute daily radio broadcast, 30 minute
weekly broadcast, and the 1 minute daily broadcast. Each weekday in cities
across America over a million people hear Jim through his radio ministry to
families. His passion is communicating to adults and young people practical
truths to help them live out their Christian lives.
Jim is a three time Gold Medallion
Award winning author and has written books for parents, youth workers, and
students. His resources include Confident Parenting (May 2007), Creating an

Tom
Shrader
was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating from St.
Ambrose College, he migrated to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1978 he began a
successful career in the fast-paced, highly-competitive, commercial real
estate industry. Eventually he joined a colleague in forming their own
real estate brokerage firm. Tom's life was changed forever in March of
1980 when he met Christ for the first time. He is now the senior pastor
of large Phoenix church. Since 1991 he has also been involved in a
teaching ministry under the banner of
Priority Living of Arizona.
He currently leads three weekly study groups, targeted primarily at
business men and women. Tom's studies also make up the content of the
daily radio broadcast Exploring the
Truth. Tom has a refreshing straight-forward style of
teaching that offers sound biblical answers to practical, everyday
questions.

Bruce
Fong has
served as President of Michigan Theological Seminary in Plymouth,
Michigan since 1999. Previously he was professor of Homiletics, Bible,
and Pastoral Ministries at Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He also speaks
at Promise Keepers, Family Life, and Bible conferences in the U.S. and
abroad. In addition to Seminary employment Bruce has been a pastor and
missionary. He has authored Racial
Equality in the Church (University Press of America), and
contributed to several periodical publications. Bruce and wife Yvonne
have three children. Bruce is an excellent communicator masterfully
using illustrations and humor to enhance his in-depth Bible teaching.

Underwood

Ed
Underwood enjoys teaching the Bible for life-change, training and
equipping leaders, and leading a church with the faith to ask God for
big things. “I did not grow up in a Christian home,” Ed says. “This has
marked me with a deep appreciation of the Lord’s power to transform
lives, families and cultures. When Jesus Christ steps in, nothing should
be the same.” He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and “in
this younger years” served as an officer in the United States Army and a
firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service. Ed and his wife Judy have three
children and five grandchildren and pastor in Southern California.

Director of Forest Home Conference Center, Bob Kraning
joined Chuck Swindoll’s staff as Pastor of Men’s Ministry and Evangelism
in 1988. Founder of Good Word Ministries, Bob now travels full
time teaching and preaching. An excellent and enthusiastic communicator,
Bob radiates his love for the Lord. His teaching has been featured by
Focus on the Family, Priority Living, and numerous other ministries
across the United States.

Bob
Vernon is president
of Pointman Leadership Institute and has recently completed the
book Eight Ethics of Highly Effective Leaders: The Foundation of
Character. During his 38 years in the Los Angeles Police department,
Bob has come to be known as a Christian willing to stand up for his
faith under difficult circumstances, speaking across the United States
and around the world with a message of Christian ethics and need for
moral change. He is a popular speaker with great cop stories to
illustrate biblical truth.

Ron
Allen is Senior
Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary. He
has spoken many times in Cannon Beach as one of our most popular
conference speakers, a great story teller, and able to expand greatly on
current topics. Ron is an articulate writer with many books and articles
to his credit plus a collaboration with Nelson Publishers on the Nelson
Study Bible. An Old Testament scholar, Ron draws from a background in
archaeology and many trips to the Middle East, to enhance his Bible
teaching.
