COVID-19

General Guidelines: We are following the rules given by the State of Oregon regarding masking, social distancing and cleaning. Here is a quick overview of how we are handling the continuing concern with COVID:

Masking and Social Distancing…

The State of Oregon is now requiring masks to be worn indoor public spaces by those 5 years old and older. For us this includes our Chapel, Dining Room, classrooms, lobby, hallways, etc. Additionally, when outside in public and unable to socially distance, masks must also be worn.

Exposure to COVID…

Any guest who, in the preceding 14 days, has been exposed to COVID-19 (e.g. by a household member, co-worker, etc.) needs to stay home. Any on-site guest who shows symptoms or tests positive, needs to notify the Front Desk and head home as soon as possible.

Our Staff…

If any of our staff test positive for COVID, we have protocols in place to swiftly quarantined them as well as identify any other staff that were potentially affected.

Vaccinations…

Having a vaccination is not required for any guests coming to CBCC as well as any staff members or volunteers serving here.

Cleaning…

In addition to regular cleaning, we sanitize common areas regularly. Our guest rooms are empty for more than 24 hours between summer conferences.

Our aim is to have all guests and staff be as safe as possible while enjoying their time here on the Oregon Coast.
